RECRUITMENT
Applications are invited from the eligible candidates for post of Head Accounts and Administration at the Head Office of the Society located at Ponda Goa. The eligibility criteria are as follows :
Educational Qualification
i) Chartered Accountant (CA) with minimum 2 years experience as Accounts incharge of comparable Institute.
OR
ii)Intermediate CA with minimum 5 years experience in similar capacity/organization.
OR
iii) B.com/M.Com – minimum II class with 10 years experience in Accounts Dept. of which 5 years as Chief Accountant.
iv) Knowledge and experience in Computer Accounting essential.
v) Knowledge of Statutory provisions of Sales Tax, Income Tax, VAT, TDS, Service Tax etc.
vi)Minimum 5 years experience at senior level in handling General Adminstration and Human Resources (H.R.) independently.
vii) Knowledge of Estate Management.
viii) Knowledge of Sales/Purchase/Marketing in general.
2) Age not more than 40 years.
3) Knowledge of Marathi, Konkani, Hindi & English
4) Pay Scale: 9300-24300+G.P. (4600) +H.R.A. +D.A.
5) Probation - 6 Months.
6) Expected Duties :The Societies turnover is above 112 crores spread in three sections Horiculture produce, Agricultural section and Consumer products.
The expected duties of the above position are as under :
* Responsible for handling all matters relating to the Accounts.
* Preparation of periodicals A/c Statements.
* Look after all tax matters such as Income Tax, Sales Tax, V.A.T. FBT, C.S.T. etc.,
* Deal with Statutory auditors and other auditors.
* Submission of MIS reports.
* Ensure effective control mechanism such as Bank, Bank reconciliation, Inter branch transaction, controlling of Debtors/Creditors A/c. etc.
* Handling general Administration and Human Resources (H.R) of the Society.
* Handling matters related to Estate.
