The Bagayatdar Bazar with self service counter was started at Ponda in July 1989 and the experiment met with a great success, which was reflected in the Bazar recording sale of Rs. 44 Lakhs in the first eight months of its operations. With this success story of Bazar concept, the society started spreading its wings and opened another 11 Bazars at different locations viz. Bicholim, Sanquelim, Valpoi, Marcel, Churchorem, Cancona, Arlem, Sadar-Ponda, Shiroda and Vasco.

The Grocery, consumables, cloth, stationary, footwear, plastic & steel items are sold at reasonable rates in all the Bagayatdar Bazar.
